Another week! And only progress to show on one project.
Ongoing works in progress:
1) Sorta Shortie Christmas Socks - I added two rounds on this sock over the past week.
1) Sorta Shortie Christmas Socks - I added two rounds on this sock over the past week.
2) Slipstravaganza - this is a mystery shawl knit along by Stephen West. The clues come out every Friday and I cast this on on October 9th. Over the past week I completed the bonus clue and am nearly half way through the second clue (I'm done 25 out of 60 rows). The third clue came out on October 24th but I have not looked at that clue yet so I have no idea what to expect! I am hoping to finish clue number two and to get a start on clue number three before next week and before the final clue comes out this Friday! I won't show any pictures of the shawl here because I don't want to spoil the surprise/mystery for anyone, but I do show it in my podcast if you are curious (and there are some pictures on my Ravelry project page).
I just posted a new video on Saturday in case you want to check it out! I would be so happy if you subscribed to my little channel ♥
I am loving your shawl. The yarn from the knit crate is such a lovely neutral color. It will go with just about anything. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteI have never done a KAL but it does sound fun. You are motivating me to give it a try.
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to watching your video and catching up on your projects, Karen. New projects will be fun to follow along! :)
ReplyDeleteYou sorta shortie socks look the length I typically knit all my socks, so I guess I’m also knitting ‘sorta shorties’. 😀. I am behind with most people’s videos that I follow so will catch up at some point and when I watch them back to back your items will seem like they took no time at all.
ReplyDeleteYour shawl is gorgeous. I love Stephen West, I am hoping he comes up with a slipstraviganza sweater!
ReplyDeleteI've never done a mystery KAL but your sounds like fun! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteThose colors are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAwesome job!!
I will check out the colours on your ravelry page - I am now intrigued about Stephen West KALs. I love his innovative patterns and colour choices.
